The Bay of Fundy Sand Sculpture Festival is held on the pristine shores of New River Beach Provincial Park. 78 New River Beach Rd, New River, NB 

From Saint John

Follow New Brunswick Route 1 West. Take Exit 86 and turn left onto Route 175. Continue right onto Route 175. Follow Route 175 until New River Beach Rd.  

From Bangor 

Follow Maine State Route 9. Turn right off Route 9 onto U.S. 1 South. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto International Avenue heading to New Brunswick. After crossing the border, continue on Route 1 until Exit 69. Turn right onto Route 175 and continue until New River Beach Road.

Parking + Shuttle

Parking within the managed parking lots is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A number of spaces will be reserved for accessible parking. There is a $15.00 fee for parking. Parking volunteers, and Public Safety officers will be on-site to direct vehicles and enforce traffic safety.

Traffic will be limited to one way on New River Beach Rd. to enable traffic flow and parking on both sides of the road. No roadside parking is permitted on Carrying Cove Rd, due to emergency access. 


To reduce the number of vehicles on site, we encourage visitors to carpool.

Camping  

New River Beach Provincial Park 
Stay awhile at the New River Beach Provincial Park campground, air-conditioned by the Bay of Fundy breeze. Only a short walk from the beach, the campground offers forested campsites for tents and RVs as well as several roofed accommodation options. The campground is equipped with two large washrooms with hot showers, a cook shelter, and an RV dumping station.
